OPS is the first Elder Moving Company in Arkansas. Building on our foundation of customer service provided at the highest level, we help seniors and their families downsize, move, and unpack at a senior community or smaller home.

Senior Move Manager

We are a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers. We provide complete assistance for one of the most difficult moves you or an elderly loved one may make. OPS will prepare for and supervise the move, unpack your new home, and much more! We take the stress out of moving.

  • Before you move:
    • Help determine what goes to your new home
    • Sort and make arrangements for things that don't go (auction/donate/etc.)
    • Make a floor plan for your new home and help plan new furniture layout
    • Assist you in arranging for a professional moving company
    • Stage your home for sale in today's competitive real estate market
    • Contact utilities and post office for "change of address"
    • Prepare for packing day (disconnect entertainment systems, computers, take down window coverings, wall hangings, etc.)
  • During the move:
    • Oversee the packers and movers, watching out for your interests!
    • Guide furniture placement according to floor plan
  • After you move:
    • Unpack and settle you in to your new home!!
    • Reconnect entertainment systems and computers
    • Hang pictures, set clocks, make beds
    • Remove all boxes and packing materials.
    • Assist with closing your former home by working with the family, estate sale services, charities, utilities, etc.
