Do you deliver in my area?
The Ouachita Provisioning Services delivery area covers Hot Springs and the surrounding area, including Southern and Western Garland County, from Hot Springs Village to Lake Hamilton. We also deliver to the Mountain Harbor area. Due to the distance and time involved, Ouachita Provisioning Services may limit deliveries to some areas. We provide on-the-water delivery service to Lake Ouachita.

How does the quality of the food I order from Ouachita Provisioning Services compare to what I can find at my local grocery store?
You will find the quality of the products to be exactly the same as your local grocery store because that is where we get your groceries. We shop at the store you specify and deliver the groceries on the same day that they are purchased.

Can I trust Ouachita Provisioning Services to pick my meat, produce and other fresh foods?
Our shoppers will shop for your meats, produce and other fresh foods just as if they were shopping for themselves, including checking for the latest expiration date. If we don't feel that it's good enough for us, why would it be good enough for you? We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and we believe that if you are not a satisfied customer then you won’t be a repeat customer and repeat customers are the livelihood of our business.

Can I purchase alcohol and tobacco products?
Arkansas law does not allow the home delivery of alcohol. Ouachita Provisioning Services does not deliver alcohol. Ouachita Provisioning Services does believe in keeping our children safe and without addiction. Because of this, we will ask for ID when delivering your purchases that may contain tobacco products. The person accepting the order will be required to show proof of age with either a valid State or military issued identification card.

Can I use coupons?
Ouachita Provisioning Services can accept coupons to use for your purchase, however it will be necessary for us to pick up your coupons prior to shopping for your groceries. There may be an additional charge to pick up the coupons that you provide to us prior to shopping. To determine if there is an additional charge for this service, please call Ouachita Provisioning Services first.

Why doesn’t Ouachita Provisioning Services provide a list of products available with pictures and prices?
The reason why we do not list products available with pictures and prices is because Ouachita Provisioning Services shops at a full service grocery store. Within that store, there are hundreds of potential choices and it is virtually impossible for us to list every product available in the store with a current individual price. Unlike other grocery delivery services that allow you to shop from their limited selection of items, Ouachita Provisioning Services believes in giving the customer the freedom of choice. How specific do I have to be on my grocery list?
Because we want you to be 100% satisfied with your experience of using Ouachita Provisioning Services, we ask that you be as specific as possible with your grocery list. With millions of individual grocery items available, product description, when necessary, is important. We want to be sure that we get it right for you for the first time and every time! Please be sure to read our substitution policy on the next line.

Will you substitute items that might not be available?
To ensure that your order is completed to your satisfaction, our professional personal shoppers will use the following guidelines when making substitutions:

  1. If you do not specify a particular brand when you order, the Ouachita Provisioning Services personal shopper will carefully select one that is of good quality.
  2. If a specific size is not listed, the medium size will be selected.
  3. If the product is out of stock, we will first try to substitute with a different size of the identical product. The next size smaller is selected over the next size larger unless otherwise specified.
  4. If we cannot change size, we will substitute a different comparable brand of the same product.
  5. If it is not possible to substitute a size or name brand, the item will be deleted from the order, and you will be informed at the time of delivery. Ouachita Provisioning Services cannot be held responsible for out of stock items.

If you would prefer to not have products substituted or if you would prefer to not have certain products substituted, please indicate this information when placing your order.

Can you take care of other errands around town for me?
Yes, we would be happy to take care of your errands. We will make one additional stop within city limits at no extra cost. We can pick up your dry cleaning or prescription refills, pick up your dog at the groomer’s or purchase an order of your favorite BBQ. We can drop off your rental movies or your mail at the post office. We can run just about any errand that you need, to give you more time to do the things that you enjoy.

What are your shopping and delivery fees?
The Ouachita Provisioning Services shopping and delivery fee is dependent upon the total cost of your order. We will shop and deliver up to $300.00 worth of groceries for $75.00. Orders greater than $300.00 will be charged a 25% delivery fee. There is an additional $50.00 fee for Lake Ouachita on-the-water delivery. Our shop and delivery fees differ from our competitors, and there are several reasons for this:

  1. We are simply a service provider, we do not profit from the sale of groceries.
  2. When we are shopping for your groceries, your order is getting the absolute attention that it deserves because we do not shop for your order at the same time as someone else's order.
  3. Ouachita Provisioning Services provides grocery delivery from the store you prefer. You get the brands and pay the prices that you are used to.

What do you charge for running errands?
Your first errand is free with your grocery shopping and delivery. Additional errands are $7.50 each or 25% of the total, whichever is higher.

Do you have any price breaks for frequent shoppers?
Yes. We value our customers and want to serve you again. Order five paid deliveries in any 12 month period, and we’ll waive the service charge on your sixth. Or order three paid deliveries within 30 days, and we’ll waive the service charge on your fourth.

Are there any other fees?
Ouachita Provisioning Services will charge additional fees for returned checks or re-delivery. An additional $25.00 charge will be imposed for any returned check and an additional $30.00 charge will be imposed for any order that needs to be re-delivered due to the customer not being available for the original delivery time. (Ouachita Provisioning Services does not have refrigerated storage for undelivered groceries. If groceries cannot be delivered at the originally scheduled delivery time, Ouachita Provisioning Services can not be responsible for any degradation in quality or freshness.)

What are your delivery hours?
Ouachita Provisioning Services delivery hours are dependent upon the customer. We can schedule a delivery between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, or 9:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday. We reserve Sunday for rest and worship and do not schedule deliveries on Sunday.

Does it take a long time to place an order?
Placing an order with Ouachita Provisioning Services is very quick. Unlike other grocery delivery services, where you have to search through pages of products to click on, we do not have "virtual aisles" for you to waste time in and shop through. We assume that you know what you want and about how much it's going to cost. Simply type out your grocery list and e-mail or fax it to us. Give us a call to arrange payment and delivery, and your groceries will arrive on time with a smile, guaranteed.

How far in advance do I need to order?
We offer next-day delivery (if the next-day is a normal delivery day) and in some cases, same-day delivery may be available. However, all available delivery times are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and popular times do fill quickly. Please place your order by 7:00 p.m. the night before to better ensure next-day delivery. We recommend placing your order several days before your desired delivery date if possible. Due to the demand for our services, we may not be able to guarantee a next-day delivery, but we will do our best to accommodate you for the time of your request.

Can I change my delivery time after I have placed my order?
You can change your delivery time after your order has been placed and confirmed, but you must call Ouachita Provisioning Services to make the change at least 3 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Sending an email will not be sufficient to change your scheduled grocery delivery.

Can I cancel my order once it has been placed and scheduled?
To cancel a scheduled delivery entirely, you must contact Ouachita Provisioning Services before 7:00 pm the night before. Sending an email will not be sufficient to cancel your grocery order from being processed.

Do I need to be home to receive a delivery?
Unless other arrangements have been made, someone must be home to receive your order and pay for the service. Your groceries are shopped for on an individual basis, meaning that we do not shop for anyone else's order at the same time as yours. If no one is available to receive your order, your groceries will be stored and you may subject to a re-delivery fee. (Ouachita Provisioning Services does not have refrigerated storage for undelivered groceries. If groceries cannot be delivered at the originally scheduled delivery time, Ouachita Provisioning Services cannot be responsible for any degradation in quality or freshness.)

How do I pay for my order?
Ouachita Provisioning Services makes paying for your groceries easy. When you call us to arrange payment and delivery, you will provide us with your credit card information. We will charge a deposit to your credit card. (We make no profit on the sale of the groceries; you will receive the grocery store receipt and will pay the actual price for the groceries.) When your groceries are delivered you may pay the remaining grocery bill and delivery service fee by cash, check, or credit card.

What if I receive my order and realize that I ordered the wrong item or I receive an item I didn't order?
Complete customer satisfaction is our number one goal. Along with your grocery order, we give you the actual receipt from the store so you are able to make returns or exchanges. If the mistake is ours, we will make it right by returning or exchanging the product for you, or arranging credit on that or a future order.

Ouachita Provisioning Services reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Should I tip my personal shopper?
Though gratuities are greatly appreciated, they are both optional and completely at your discretion.

What if I am not happy with an item in my order?
If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with an item, you may return the item to the store with the grocery store receipt that we provide to you. If it is our mistake, we will reimburse you at the time of the delivery or during the next delivery. Ouachita Provisioning Services will do whatever it takes within reason to make sure you are completely satisfied with our service.

Can I shop for someone else, even if I live in another city?
As long as the person for whom you are shopping lives within our delivery area, you can shop for them and even pay for their groceries and delivery fee with your credit card. If you wish to pay for the delivery fee only, a Ouachita Provisioning Services delivery makes a wonderful gift, especially for someone with a temporary health or mobility problem. Please contact us about prepaying for a service as a gift.
